Not exactly how I originally envisioned it to be due the output files being drastically different than the preview window for some reason. ¬_¬

But it gets the job done, I think.  I do recommend using Normal blending rather than Add along with an opacity value less than 255 for this particular animation.

I would’ve liked to have made this animation with a stylized skull, but finding a non-copyrighted picture of one is apparently quite hard.

Whoa. That’s really creepy and cool at the same time. I think it’s also better that you didn’t use a stylized skull, too, since this leaves the smoke as appearing more coincidental and adds more to the creepiness factor (which is what I believe you were originally going for).

  2. PKPwnr says:

I agree with Yanfly. It actually looks like mabye a Darkness skill that may add on some poison, hence the skull. Mabye some crossbones? XD Just kidding.

Can’t wait to see the 100% finished/satisfied result. Keep it up Mr. Bubble!

    Looks Like a Rage Face

Very creepy as all Darkness-based spells should be. However, I disagree a bit about this animation’s color. It’s purple rather than black.

  5. Pedro says:

I mean, I know that you can’t do darkish animations due to the black background. If you know some way to turn your animations black, I’d be grateful.

  6. Mr. Bubble says:

You can easily edit the color in an image editing software of your choice like Photoshop or GIMP.
