Click the animation to download the animation sheet. The gif may not represent the actual frame speed in-game.
the wind animation looks more like a really awesome looking poison animation, or more like a water animation than a wind animation to me… might just be me though.
deggy, these aren’t limited to what I name the images. The file names are for organizational purposes only. You’re can use them with whatever kind of hue for whatever kind of reason you want them to. 🙂
Wow, with all these great looking animations, have you ever considered just patching your game so that they will play at 60 FPS?
Oh, and I meant to write the post, but somehow, Control + Enter made me post already, haha.
Just go to Sprite_Base, find “if @animation_duration % 4 == 0”
Change the 4 to a 1.
Thanks Yanfly, it’s nice to know how to change the animation frame rate.
Unfortunately, there is still the 200 pattern limit for animations in VX. I’m not sure why EB decided to put that in.
Also, 60 fps animations would look really nice, but imagine the file size. x_x
I don’t think there’s a way to change the 200 pattern limit unfortunately. I tried a swap method before using specific “sounds” at certain frames to change the animation file, but that ended up being more messy than helpful.
